Kicking another man while he is down is a low blow, Eddie should know better

After thirty five years, Eddie Murphy made his return to Saturday Night Live. During his monologue, he made a tasteless dig at Bill Cosby.
I am fan of both Cosby and Murphy, but wrong is wrong.
It is known that the two comedic legends have had issues in the best.
In Murphy's Raw special, he did a routine on Cosby, who has expressed to Murphy he was not a fan of his brand of comedy. Cosby felt he curses too much
In the later years of his life, Cosby had been considered some what controversial due to the "pound cake speech' in which Cosby made statements which were received as harsh criticism of the black community, such as not giving "ghetto" names to children and how to have a ruling class mentality
Murphy must not forget when he had his incident with a transsexual prostitute in 1997, the one he claimed he was only giving a ride, where Saturday Night Live made fun of the situation.
Cosby's publicist soon made a statement, where he called Eddie Murphy a Hollywood slave.
As damning as that word is, there is no other appropriate way to describe Murphy's behavior and the joke. It was classless in every single way.
It must be understood that we are in the Me Too era, where black men are being used as the face.
Harvey Weinstein conveniently has his trials moved every few months, while men like R Kelly and Bill Cosby are left to rot in jail over decades old allegations.
Eddie Murphy's return to Saturday Night Live was commendable, reliving old characters is great. However it's clear Mr. Murphy used his decades long beef with Cosby to kick him when he's down to appeal to the white masses.
Murphy's actions are indeed indicative of a Hollywood slave, Cosby's name did not have to be mentioned at all.
In time people will see the injustice done to the man once known as America's Dad, for now it's best Eddie and other black people to put petty differences aside and stay on code in a time where the black identity is truly at war.
